Material
- 50% peat yarn, 50% acrylic yarn
- HANKI beanie is made from "peatwool" yarn. It's a combination of deadstock peat yarn and acrylic yarn. The peat yarn is an old deadstock from a Finnish company called Kultaturve. Because peat itself is not durable enough, we are mixing it with acrylic yarn.

Wash & Care
Peat wool products are made from a peat-wool mixture. The peat yarn used by Globe Hope is a surplus of Finnish Kultaturve, alongside which we use a second yarn to strengthen the knitted fabric.
Air the peat wool product regularly, which also extends the washing interval. However, if the product needs washing, hand washing is recommended. When damp, shape the product to its correct shape, as peat wool can change its shape during washing. For example, a hat should be stretched to the correct length when wet
